The Kendriya Vidyalayas are run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. As a result of the recommendations of the second Pay Commission. They Primarily cater to the educational needs of the children of the Central Govt. Employees including Defence Personnel and floating population liable to frequent transfers throughout the country. Needles to say, therefore they have common syllabus and are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Rambi is an unit of KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN Under Ministry of HRD Govt. of India.Kendriya Vidyalaya Rambi established in the year 2007 is the unique institute of its kind and has been catering to the needs of children belonging to transferable Central Govt. Employees, Defence Employees as well as the floating population of the district since its inception. It provides excellent academic opportunity from class I to VIII both in primary and secondary education with NCERT & CBSE courses. The school has also extended its expertise beyond the realm of the organisation, in collaboration with the Government of Rambi, by taking up 3 Schools in the under-privileged area of North Bengal, to augment and enhance their standards and make them more conducive to teaming. Education is a life-long process, but it must develop from firm and broad foundations. The goal of the school is to imbibe in the students a love of learning and inculcate in them a desire to excel at every level. The school also aims at equipping the students with the intellectual and practical skills that are necessary to meet the inevitable challenges in the future. To sum up, the mission of Kendriya Vidyalaya Rambi is "to open doors and open minds" and prepare the ground for the future of the nation.
